One of the most fun things about having a BIG family is being able to photograph LOTS of people! My mother-in-law had a fantastic idea for photos, don’t ya think?
This bike they have is GORGEOUS. And it’s become quite the hobby for them!
It was fun capturing all the details!
They’re lots of fun, too! And maybe just a little bit crazy…
Every once in a while I get to take photos of friends! Although most people I photograph are friends by the time we’re done with our shoot, it sure is fun to photograph “already-friends”, too!
I’ve been photographing Brian & KaSondra for a few years now. Our normal plan is for my husband to go with us, and then the four of us grab a bite to eat afterwards. We did this in 2012…
…and now in 2014, in historic downtown Ybor City (Tampa, FL)
Aren’t they the cutest?!
Well, hello, all!
It’s been pretty quiet around here on the blog, since Portray Photography & OS closes for the month of January. (Something about running myself in ragged in October, November and December or other…) HA!
But things are off and running for 2015 now!
- I’m returning texts, calls, emails and Facebook messages of those who contacted me in January TODAY. If you don’t hear from me by tomorrow morning, contact me again, please!
- You’ll all be seeing LOTS of action here on the blog and on the Facebook page, as well, due to the fact that I have TONS of holiday sessions that have not been logged yet, and I’m excited to share them with all of you!
- This week I’m finishing up a 60th wedding anniversary photo shoot project – I’m looking forward to sharing that with you, as well!

A little bit more food photography experimentation has been happening at my house! Here are some shots I took for my other blog, The Road to Domestication. If you’d like to check that blog out, CLICK HERE!
What do you think of these?
The more I worked on these photos, the more I was convinced that this fun-loving girl looks a LOT like Jennifer Lawrence! Do you see it? I’ve known her for years, but I never noticed the resemblance until now!
For this senior session, we headed out to Loyce Harpe Park in Mulberry, with mom and dad tagging along in a truck carrying a good-sized couch! Check it out:
So gorgeous! Congratulations on all you have achieved, Lexie! I can’t wait to see where life takes you next!
Way back in the Spring of 2011, I photographed a beautiful High School Senior…
…and her boyfriend came along for a few shots, too!
A few short months later, I shot their engagement photos!
And about a year after the wedding…
Another year went by and there was this:
So it was only fitting that two weeks ago, this happened…
Stay tuned! The party of FOUR will be back here in just a few short weeks!
So I’ve been experimenting with photographing food here off and on. Here are some shots I took for my other blog, The Road to Domestication. If you’d like to check that blog out, CLICK HERE!

I think I still need some work! But it’s fun to play around with something different!
I met this lovely couple in downtown Ybor City (Tampa, FL). We took a stroll around a few blocks right at sunset, and got some great shots! They are SUCH a sweet pair! Enjoy!
Happy October 1, y’all! I cannot BELIEVE it’s time for the Holiday Photos already!
Everyone knows the drill: $85 for photo shoot, editing, proofs, CD of all the photos and rush turnaround. In lieu of the special being alive and well for October, November and December, I thought I’d share some of last year’s Holiday Photos with everyone! Please remember: if you are interested in this special, CONTACT ME NOW! I’m already heavily booked, so the sooner I can get you on my calendar, the better!
